Madison Hoop Dreams Basketball Camp

FEBRUARY VACATION

We are offering a basketball camp during the February vacation at the Robert H. Brown Middle School from 9AM to 3PM on February 15 – 19 as a service to parents who are working that week and an opportunity for players who love the game and want to get better.

There will be daily instruction on all aspects of basketball. In addition, there will be contests and several games each day. Our objective will be to help each player improve their game and to have a week of fun! The cost is $195 per camper. For two or more/family the cost is $175 /camper. On a daily basis, the cost is $50 per day. However, a 4 day rate is $175.00. Since the camp is limited to 40 campers, I encourage you to register ASAP to be sure of a spot for your son or daughter.

 Madison Hoop Dreams
"School of Basketball"

Madison Hoop Dreams will offer two consecutive camps to help players develop their basketball skills. Each camp will consist of 4 nights starting on February 22 at The Robert H. Brown Middle School for grades 3 through 10 to improve shooting and ball handling skills and, for the older group, to push their limits in transition basketball through advanced drills used in high school and college. Enrollment is limited to 20 players per group. Coaches Bill Barker, Kevin Kehoe, Charlie Trapani, Chris Wallack, Steve Ongley and Jeff Allen will help every player improve their game.

There will be at least one coach for every 5 campers. Individual and small group instruction leads to significant learning opportunities. The older group does many full court drills that simulate real game situations and develop the ability to react at game speed.

Dates:

First Camp: February 22, 24, March 1 and 3.

Second Camp: March 8, 10, 15, and 17.

Times: Session One for grades 3 – 6 is 6 PM to 7 PM

(Small group and individual instruction on

                shooting and ball handling)

             Session Two for grades 7 – 10 is 7 PM – 8:30 PM

(First half hour is on shooting and ball handling.

The next hour will include full court, transition

basketball and introduce concepts emphasized in

                 high school and college practices)

Advanced sixth graders can move up based on space available and their readiness to do the transition drills.

The fee is based on $25/night and pro-rated for anyone who cannot make all 4 nights. Cost: $100 per camp.
