Martin Luther King Day Basketball Camp

Madison Hoop Dreams has arranged for use of the Robert H Brown School (980 Durham Rd. Madison) for Martin Luther King Day, Jan 19th, and the Feb vacation days of Feb 16 and 17.
Our objective is to help every camper improve their skills and their enjoyment of basketball. We also see it as a service to parents who are working and want a structured, well supervised, fun camp that will promote good sportsmanship and positive social interaction. The camp is for players in grades 3 - 8 and is from 9 AM to 3 PM. Players are encouraged to register early to ensure a spot. Our limit is 60 campers and we will draw from over 15 towns. All of our programs are co-ed.
Each day starts with an hour of skill development. Then, campers will have fun participating in competitive basketball games for the remainder of the day. During the games, the coaches give instruction to help each player improve their knowledge and understanding of the game. This is an excellent opportunity for all players to Improve their skills for the basketball season. In addition, we usually have an outstanding guest speaker to motivate the campers.
The cost is $60/day for the 6 hour camp. However, to encourage teams to attend, If there are 3 or 4 teammates attending, the cost is $55 per camper. If 5 or more teammates attend, the cost is $50 per camper. Please have one of the parents text Coach Bill Barker with the names of the teammates attending (203-494-6905). If possible, they will put teammates on the same team. However, trades may be necessary to balance the competition. In addition, they are combining the 3 days to offer a discount to families with 2 or more campers attending.
Two siblings for 2 days is $55 each per day. Two siblings for all 3 days is $50 per day (family friendly pricing). Please choose the best discount for your family (team or family discount).
Please have seperate checks for registration and for the concession. They are seperate accounts. If you are registerng and not sure if payment will arrive by mail, please pay at the door.
It is very important to get regisrations with as much lead time as possible to have adequate staffing. Please make some calls or use social media to invite teammates and friends. We hope to have 60 campers each day.
